Figure Drawing (2015)

Here they are a couple of drawings from the free session at the Florence Art Academy. It's been almost an year since I made them, but now they find a place on the web..

The improvements during this year (yesterday I attended a drawing session) are not so undeniable. But I know that figure drawing (and drawing in general) require constat e regular practice, and sometimes the drawing comes out better than other times. Anyway, thinking also about the yesterday session, maybe I could focus more on measuring and the preparatory stage, if I know that I can work almost two hours with a pose. I know it's boring form me, but I ought to spend time on't.

TIP: You can use your smartphone as a black mirror to have a fresh look while you're working. It also help to see a simplified version of the values on the object you are drawing or painting.
