Arnovecchio Workshop wih Sandro Sacchetti (first Part)

Last Saturday I took part in a workshop held in a small natural area near my hause by the naturalistic artist Sandro Sacchetti. We didn't draw much from nature, the first part was about very general indication about drawing and the course was meant for very beginners. But anyway the weather was fine and I had pleasure sharing time, attention and passion with other people. These are the "products"

Pencil copy of a watercolour of Federico Gemma: two little hoot owl

Color pencil and watercolor pencil sketch of a little plum
Next week there will be the second part!

This drawings are from the country near my home. The bird you can see in the second picture is a wild silent duck

Alberi sul fiume Arno

La domenica pomeriggio di sole, febbraio: cosa meglio di un giro a godersi l'aria e i colori del tramonto? Ed infatti eccomi a giro con sketchbook e matite acquerellabili..

Sunday afternoon, what's better than going sketching ? ;) The air is already sweet with the sun... I collected watercolor pencils and normal color pencils and went out on the river Arno.

The spot on the river, but with the sun already down

Montalbano dalla Torre

Ecco uno sketch estivo, fatto per lo più con le matite.

Here is a recent sketch with color and watercolor pencil. It's about 15 cm long.

Montalbano con pioppi e argine

Sketch in un assolato giorno di settembre 2013, matite polychromos

Another sketch of Monte Albano. You can see a bit of Arno bank on the left and a man made building on the right. Colured pencil, about 20x15 cm.

Cipressi

Una tradizione passare a giugno da queste parti con un taccuino.. matita rinforzata da pennarellino indelebile.

It's a tradition for me to enjoy the nature and the peace of this little hill. I can see the Montalbano in a relative isolation, enjoing also the shadow of the cypresses. In pencil reinforced with fineliner.
